Gerard D. Neil has been practicing law in the Greater Grand Forks area for over thirty years. Gerard has devoted a substantial amount of his practice to commercial, residential and agricultural real estate transactions.  
Gerard is a MSBA Board Certified Real Property Specialist. He is a licensed title insurance agent in North Dakota and Minnesota, as well as a licensed abstracter in Minnesota. He has performed thousands of real estate closings and related transactions. Mr. Neil also has a substantial practice in the areas of business law, probate and estate planning.
Gerard earned a B.S. degree in Business Administration from the University of North Dakota in 1977, and his J.D. degree from the University of North Dakota in 1981. He is admitted to the Bar in North Dakota and Minnesota and the U.S. District Courts in North Dakota and Minnesota. He is a member of the Greater Grand Forks Bar Association, the 14th District Bar Association in Minnesota; and the North Dakota and Minnesota State Bar Associations. He is the past president of the 14th District Bar Association.  
Gerard is a regular presenter on the subject of real estate, estate planning, business formations and contractor licensing for individuals, corporations, limited liability companies and limited liability partnerships in North Dakota and Minnesota.
