Review This Lawyer

After graduating magna cum laude from the University of Georgia School of Law, Justin clerked for the Honorable Leigh I. Saufley of the Maine Supreme Judicial Court.  Justin joined LeBlanc & Young in 2001, where he focuses on helping clients develop their estate plans, administer estates and trusts, and implement business succession plans.  Justin has extensive experience in difficult probate matters and often serves as a court-appointed independent fiduciary, working with all parties to resolve complex and contentious matters respectfully, and efficiently.  Justin is a mediator, trained in the Harvard Law School method of non-caucus mediation, where all parties work collaboratively to arrive at a client-driven settlement. Best Lawyers named Justin as Portland, Maine’s Trusts and Estates “Lawyer of the Year” for 2019.

Justin lives in South Portland with his two sons and enjoys watching their various musical, athletic, and circus-arts pursuits. Prior to law school, Justin worked closely with Slugger the Sea Dog.  In 2014, Justin and Slugger reunited and walked from Fenway Park to Hadlock Field (114 miles) to raise money for Camp Twitch and Shout, a summer camp for children with Tourette Syndrome.  We are all waiting patiently for Justin’s induction into the Maine Baseball Hall of Fame.
